Important information about cardiac function also can be gained from tests performed in our fully equipped Exercise Testing Laboratory at our state-of-the-art Shapiro Cardiovascular Center , which provides the following services:
- Routine treadmill tests
- Arm ergometry exercise testing
- Stress echocardiograms
- Indirect oxygen saturation measurements
- Direct measurements of metabolic gas exchange
- Dobutamine infusions with echocardiography
Echocardiograms are performed in the Noninvasive Cardiac Laboratory (also referred to as the "Echo Lab").
